| Parsonage Street 2 |

Another view of Upper Parsonage Street dating from just before 1900. The house behind the lamp-post has gone but the house with the porch still remains. On the left the houses in foreground still remain. They were built around 1851, soon after the rebuilding of St. Andrew's Church Tower and it is believed that some of the surplus materials were used in their construction. The flints on the front facing walls match those of the church, and although unclear from these images, the row of sculpted heads over the top windows have a very ecclesiastical appearance.
