A view from the days when Samuel Courtauld's factory was one of the biggest employers in town; is has now been replaced by the giant Solar Co-op Superstore. Relatively modern premises include the Electric Motor Development, industrial units at the rear of the former factory powerhouse and the housing area at Park Drive, off Mitchell Avenue (top centre).
