Wilfred Waters photographed here as a young man was the youngest child of Henry and Amelia Waters of Panxworth near Norwich in Norfolk. He attended The Royal Veterinary College in Camden Town in 1903 qualifying in July 1907. He practiced both in the UK and abroad, eventually arriving in Halstead in the early 1920's. He eventually took over the practice of Frederick Morton Wallis. He was renowned throughout the area for his expertise with farm livestock and horses. He died aged 90 years.
