Seen here around 1900, outside the Carpenter's Arms in Mount Pleasant, Halstead, holding his pony's head is Charlie Bragg. He travelled all over the town and local district selling fresh winkles. In addition, he ran a little corner shop at the junction of upper Chapel Street and Hedingham Road (now demolished). On the cart, beside the dog, is Ernie Bragg who later had his own shop in New Street. Little Ivy Last land Kate Miller are looking on.
