Frank Nice is a blacksmith by trade but the majority of his work these days is ornamental ironwork made to customers requirements, e.g. weather vanes, well heads, gates, fire baskets and fire arms. He has made many items for local people and places including the railings for the ringing floor in Earls Colne church. His most unusual job was to make thirteen 4 foot swords for the production of Hamlet for a theatre company.
